In a country with a gigantic construction boom, harboring thousands and thousands of construction workers without the right to create a labor union, this is so evident.
About 600 workers marched from their labour accommodation in Jebel Ali to Sheikh Zayed Road protesting against the deductions of food allowance from their meager salaries.
Their current wage is 1Dhs 470 a month [...]
