13 THINGS LEFT UNSAID
I got this idea from Michelle of Bleeding Espresso. Sometimes there are things you really would love to say but you are either embarassed, shy or reluctant and you keep to yourself, lock it in your heart forever. Here are 13 of those things I haven’t said (not necessarily to the same [...]

holy week »

In the Christian world, it’s holy week already. The other Christian foreigners in the office asked me if I was going to apply for leave on Black Saturday and/or Easter Sunday.
Huh?
Truth is, I didn’t give it much thought - when I was working in Japan, I worked on Good Friday and Christmas. These days are not [...]

no winter dust to wipe off »

First, because there is no spring season in Dubai la-la-land and second, because there is no need to put away winter blues around the home including jackets and woolies because we don’t have them. * playing the piano- I wish I started early and continued the lessons I took 4 years ago.
* fiction writing - I love reading fiction and I wish I could write my own [...]

A horrific accident happened last Tuesday in the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway caused by fog and clear reckless driving left hundreds injured and 8 people dead. Of the hundred vehicle pile up, 25 vehicles caught fire.

~ Looks like a scene from a Hollywood action movie but sadly, it isn’t ~

13 TEACHERS I REMEMBER
1. Mrs. L- She was my first grade teacher. I was under her class in Grade 1 in the first school I was enrolled in. She was pregnant that time and very moody. I thought pregnant ladies are no fun.
I didn’t have to put up with the hormone-laden pregnant lady (#1) in the [...]
