it’s hot and I have no iPod

Thanks for all who wished me luck yesterday. I’ll have to write it flatly, though: my name was not drawn to win the iPod last night. Oh well, that thing is pretty elusive so better luck next time!
Aside from the sad news that I won’t be taking any cool gadget to the gym any time now, the summer heat is on full force at 49C (120F) yesterday with a head-cracking 70% humidity. Thank God I work indoors. It was still hot even after sunset but at least the dusty condition has improved and the skies have cleared.
I may never complain about the weather again.

ThAT is really VERY hot! I thought we had hot weather (at the most going up to 45°), but that I guess you get the prize….

Awww… that’s too bad! But why don’t you just go and splurge a little on yourself? You don’t need to get the 30GB ones… a 2 or 4GB iPod Nano would be perfect to keep your gym playlist!
Yeah, it’s extremely HOT right now but here in Riyadh we don’t have any humidity. We had to buy a humidifier just to get some moisture in the air.
I wonder which is worse, heat with or without humidity. About the iPod, yeah one day I’ll harass the hubby to buy me one.

Wow. Our temps are only at 110F and our humidity is only 15% - whew!
It’s the humidity that kills. It will reach to more than 90% in the coming months.

Sorry you didn’t get your Ipod, I am having to wait to get my lap top too, and it is mighty frustrating. Is that the hottest it gets in Dubai? I hope so or you will all cook…:)
Yeah, I want to believe that 120F is the hottest. I hope. I pray!

I was in Phoenix over the weekend at it was 110 degrees but thankfully not very humid at all.

you know, they have non apple mp3 players too. they’re a lot cheaper. Does it have to be an ipod??
