Thanks for all who wished me luck yesterday. I’ll have to write it flatly, though: my name was not drawn to win the iPod last night. Oh well, that thing is pretty elusive so better luck next time!
Aside from the sad news that I won’t be taking any cool gadget to the gym any time now, the summer heat is on full force at 49C (120F) yesterday with a head-cracking 70% humidity. Thank God I work indoors. It was still hot even after sunset but at least the dusty condition has improved and the skies have cleared.

Awww… that’s too bad! But why don’t you just go and splurge a little on yourself? You don’t need to get the 30GB ones… a 2 or 4GB iPod Nano would be perfect to keep your gym playlist!
Yeah, it’s extremely HOT right now but here in Riyadh we don’t have any humidity. We had to buy a humidifier just to get some moisture in the air.
I wonder which is worse, heat with or without humidity. About the iPod, yeah one day I’ll harass the hubby to buy me one.

I was in Phoenix over the weekend at it was 110 degrees but thankfully not very humid at all.
