The Bloggy Carnival is on!

by Grace on October 27, 2008

** This giveaway is now closed. **

** Congratulations to Karen Haury! A very big thank you to all who entered! **

I first found out about this much celebrated Bloggy Carnival last year and participated. I am amazed with the number of participants! It looks like a big global affair. So much fun. Check out Bloggy Giveaways, now! (This post is up early so you might want to check out the list of entries at the Bloggy Giveaways site later in the day. Mr. Linky will be live at 8:00 am CST)

I know most of the participating blogs are from the US and since I am living outside of the US, shipping a magic carpet or an oil lamp would be a little painful for me (and my pocket) and there are chances of parcels getting lost and getting sucked into the black hole.

What to do? Well, I’ll give you the liberty to shop by yourself (I’m talking to YOU, lucky winner).

WHAT’S UP FOR GRABS:
$30 via Paypal to one lucky winner!

WHO CAN WIN:
Anyone from around the world can enter, whether you have a blog or not!

But you should have a paypal address, though. If you don’t have one, go create a Paypal address. It’s free.

HOW TO WIN:
Just leave me a comment saying what’s on top of your Christmas list. That’s it!

I’d like to know and the comments would be too lonely with only words that say “great giveaway” or “thanks” or “Enter me!”.

DRAW:
A winner will be chosen at random on 1st November 2008.

Perfect schedule for me since it’s my day off so I can stay at home and spend the whole day doing inny meany miny mo to pick a winner. (read: random.org does the real job)

The winner will be given three days to claim the prize.

Oh, now that you’re here, subscribe to my RSS feed as I will be coming up with more giveaways starting tomorrow!

Other ways to increase your number of entries:

  • Subscribing to my RSS feed (You might wanna know about the goings on in Dubai even after this giveaway, mind you)
  • Stumbling this post
  • Blogging about this giveaway on your site with a link back to this post

Just let me know in the comments that you’ve done any of the above so I can count your entry properly.

Goodluck!

** Do come back again to win a set of cute girls shirts, a beautiful art print and notecards and a hip t-shirt (courtesy of kind sponsors)! **

Right now the thing on the top of my list is a litman stethoscope. I just graduated last week and as my sweet little puppy chewed up my other one, I’m in need of a new one. Thanks for the giveaway!

I put you in my google reader so count me twice!

I haven’t even begun to think about my Christmas list–I think my #1 thing is to get what’s on my kids’ lists. But I am hatching a scheme for my husband to make me a jewelry display board.

The top of my wish list, is Birthday (12-12) and Christmas present in one, I want to get my hair permed, and since it is completely selfish, I guess that is the point though right?, I normally will just keep putting it off, but if I already had $30 to go towards it, then I would have no excuses, lol Thanks for the chance.

43 Brett Harris October 30, 2008 at 10:36 pm

The new Canon 5d MkII, though I don’t celebrate it.

44 Gretchen Baker October 30, 2008 at 10:54 pm

all i want for christmas is for everyone to spoil my son and give him tones of gifts. its his first christmas!

45 Lessa October 30, 2008 at 11:50 pm

If I had some extra money to buy myself something for Christmas, it would probably be the Serenity Kaylee Animated Maquette (at http://www.tfaw.com/Profile/Serenity-Little-Damn-Heroes-Kaylee-Animated-Maquette___330116). I love all things Firefly/Serenity/Joss Whedon, but I probably wouldn’t buy it for myself unless I had extra cash.

46 Jennifer October 30, 2008 at 11:51 pm

There are these fake diamonds at Helzberg diamonds, they are gorgeous and look geniunely real. I want a 2 carat.. LOL!

What would I like for Christmas! Hmmmm! I want an antique Sadler teapot. I think Santa may already have it tucked away somewhere at the North Pole! I would also really like for my parents to come and celebrate Christmas with my little blessings – but due to circumstances out of y control that isn’t very likely to happen these days!
Sweet blessings!
