Thud! Did you hear that? You just landed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I‘d like to take this opportunity to thank my bloggy friends who have become a huge part of this blog. They have faithfully commented, gave advise and encouraged me in some way through this wonderful thing called blogging. I have never met any of them in real life but nonetheless, I consider them my friends.
Say it Forward – Week 1 – This week’ s loyal commentors are Sheila, Monica, Maribeth and Cheryl (Mannequin)
Sheila whose blog, MavieFolle means “My Crazy Life” in French is a fun and witty woman and you can see when you read her blog. Her site was originally created to lend support to parents of teens going through similar issues but have evolved into a hodge-podge of things that she finds funny, disturbing, odd and entertaining.
Quoting Sheila:
We’re the people that call tech support and get a response of ‘gee, I’ve never seen that problem before’. Yep, we live according to Murphy’s Law.
Monica of Daily Dwelling is a stay at home mom of three beautiful children and married to a military chaplain. They are living in Germany now. I always like her devotional posts, their life in a foreign land and enjoy the beautiful photos of her children.
Monica and I almost share the same timezone so it’s always great to catch up on her through email and Twitter.
Maribeth is my Dackel Princess blog friend from New Hampshire. “Dackel”, by the way is the German word for Dachschund. She raises and cares for these lovely dogs in her home. I think I first found her blog two years ago and it’s always lovely to see her beautiful place, her doggies and her charming smile! It’s always a pleasure to talk to her as she is always welcoming and very inspiring for me, especially with my weight loss journey. She has successfully lost nearly 40 lbs so far and so looking good!
Cheryl of Fractured Toy goes by the name of Mannequin in her online conquests. It took a while for me to know her real first name until she – wait, I forgot how I came to know her real first name! She’s a ray of sunshine and a pleasure to have with in my blog as well as in my inbox. She writes about lotsa stuff and books.
Quoting Cheryl:
I’ve got an insatiable desire to figure everything out . You know…curiosity killed the cat and maimed the mom. That sort of thing.
I remember now, it was from this hilarious post about The Suitcase that I came to know Mannequin’s real name.
Thank you to Sheila, Monica, Maribeth and Mannequin for taking the time to visit and leave a comment on my blog. You all rock!
Thanks to 5 Minutes for Mom for creating this Loyal Commenters Carnival!

Oh…. I’ve been such a bad blogger and friend. I feel horrible now, not having visited in awhile. I don’t know what has happened but I seem to have been sucked into some time vortex. I can’t get anything done and I’m all day and night doing it!
I seriously have catching up to do and hopefully this weekend I can do that. Thank you so much Grace and congratulations to the other girls. I need to go check them out now. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine:)
