I have a Bernese that is 10 years old. I had another one before too! They are THE BEST dogs in the world, but they unfortunately do not live long. Lifespan is 7.1 years, though at 10, here were are doing well!

Nice list. I've never owned a dog, but I love my neighbor's collies. In fact, I heard a radio commentator yesterday talking about a list some organization had released listing the smartest and dumbest dogs and border collie was #1 on the smartest list. Happy TT! Love your list. We are big pet people in my family and I a super soft spot for all kinds of dogs. Our current boy is a Border Collie and he is just the most amazing friend for my young daughter.
