WW – Recipe books

japanese cookbooks

I rummaged through our old stuffs we left at my in-laws’ house (since we couldn’t take everything when we relocated to Dubai almost 3 years ago) and picked up some of my beloved recipe books. I know I could easily find recipes online now but I missed these books since I’ve used this for years and have written some special notes on it, sometimes creating something with a twist.

I’m happy to be reunited with these books again. They’re recipe books for Japanese cuisine (written in Japanese, obviously).

I love flipping through Japanese magazines even though I can’t read them! Do you cook a lot of Japanese food? How fun!

Yes, most of my cooking is Japanese since my hubby is Japanese, daughter has a very Japanese palate (despite living in Dubai for half of her life now) and because I love Japanese food (I lived in Japan for more than 10 years).

You know I’m specialist in cooking. I cook different types of recipes at home. I’m waiting for these kind of books which really helps me a lot. Any way i know Japanese language.

japanese publications, especially the ones for crafting, are always pretty to look at. you can’t expect me to cook with their recipe books, though. i would need subtitles. :P

I’ve always loved Asian food, but especially Japanese Cuisine……just love how flavorful and healthy the food is!

Ooh, I love Japanese food! One of the few cuisines I’ve never actually tried to cook. Maybe you’ve inspired me ;)

I love Japanese food, but The Hubs doesn’t so I don’t get to eat it as often as I would like. I really love my collection of cookbooks, but like you, I don’t use them very often because I can get any recipe I need now off the internet.
