Giveaway Alert: Win a Blog Design

On January 28, it’s exactly one year since I first posted on this blog and to (ahem) commemorate my blogversary, I am holding my first contest here in Sandier Pastures!!
Can you tell I’m so excited?
Revka of RS Designs is generously giving any of my readers a choice of either a pre-made template which can be adapted for many blogging platforms other than blogger or a Gold Design Package (valued at $100) where the lucky winner can get to choose 5 options from a list of 8 below to renovate their blogs.
- Custom header
- Custom signature
- Custom divider
- Custom button or advertising banner
- Custom background image
- Color coordination (change your blog’s text colors to coordinate with your custom images)
- Add or delete a column
- Custom navigation bar
RS Designs specializes in website and blog design offers custom designs at an affordable prize but if you win this contest, of course it’s for free. Sure there are lots of themes and templates available but isn’t it cool to have one that you can call your own?

Hmm, if my husband doesn’t finish my new blog design soon, then I’ll enter! I love what he’s done so far, and cross my fingers, I’ll get to show everyone soon! He’s such a perfectionist, though, that it could be a while.

Oh please pick me! I have fallen in love with blogging…it fuels my need to write and take photographs. But keeping up with just the day to day maintenance of a blog and a VERY active 3 year old leaves me no time to do what I really want to do - give my blog a facelift!

I’m in the middle of a major life transition. I just submitted my PhD thesis, and I am getting ready to become a professional academic now. I start a postdoc in the next few weeks. I’m getting a new haircut this week, and as I move towards a more professional persona, a new blog template would make it all complete! Congrats on your blog anniversary!

my husband and i are both in the design field…he is an art director, I am a photographer and yet I still find downloadable templates cause I NEVER have time to do it myself. I think the work they did here is great. I really like the 20 something mother blog template they made.

I am in the first full year of my new photography business. A blog is critical for my work as it reaches so many potential clients! I am so frustrated with blogger and the lack of adjustments I can change - I dont know enough about computer web design to change it all myself but i cant afford a new custom blog!!! you know, starting the new business and all, pennys are important these days! As you’ve already known, I’ve just signed up at a web host and got my own domain.
I’m still in the initial process of moving in there, and obviously, I don’t have template yet.

I am a desperate case. I want to move out of blogger, but I am hopeless with time and knowledge on how to do a nice design. I have a thought in mind…..I just don’t have that extra time to play around to do it. If I knew how to do it, then it wouldn’t take me so long …ok I am making no sense!

I have recently made a major overhaul to my business and have taken a risk that I feel is going to completely change the way my clients view both my work and my branding. Right smack dab in the middle of my photography career, after having established myself using a particular business name, I have decided to change my business name altogether! EEK! I am SO excited and am getting a huge response to the change and all I need to complete the transformation is a blog that causes folks to say WOW! My traffic has nearly doubled since the change and a fresh face, I feel, would really make all the difference in the world! Even thought the contest is over…can you send some info on blog design?
