Thud! Did you hear that? You just landed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Last night, the cyclone made its presence felt. Very damp air, strong winds but surprisingly, no rain! I have been hoping it will rain but the skies did not open up.
Yesterday, a triad of large earth movers were busy shifting rocks to strengthen the barriers against the rising tides in Fujairah, the only Emirate in the UAE on the East coast near Oman which the cyclone is at its strongest.
So, the temperature here has tamed to 35C and I am not complaining! Less sweating this morning on my way to work…can’t promise though that I’d say the same thing when I go out at 1:30 pm for my weekend.
