we have the same problem with the malls And our restaurants.
Always go out to those with a light jacket!

Wish our road work would move as fast as in Dubai.

Hi Grace. I love reading your posts. I just wrote my 6 month update. It’s a bit long…but I guess that’s what happens when I don’t write very often!
Where we moved from it would often get up to 40C. It was horrible! I remember the summer I was pregnant with the twins it hit 42C! You just sit near an air conditioner and don’t move!
I hope you’re finding lots to do to keep your daughter busy. One of the things my kids loved at that age was playing with a big bowl full of bubbles. Just fill the kitchen sink with lots of dish soap and water and then scoop the bubbles into a bowl, add a spoon and some kitcheny things and set her at the table, and watch her have fun!
Do you have a playdough recipe? They love playdough. And I used to let me kids paint all the time too. It’s messy but they love to be creative. Oh yah, give her a roll of tape and let her stick it on paper…hours of fun! I miss my kids being preschoolers……sometimes…..

Hi G–I like the idea of taking a road one day and it not being there the next (not). And such short playtime at the park (maybe more nap time?).

can’t imagine the “snow” in the dessert! See what money can do— to the Arabs, nothing is really impossible: malls with snow, palm-shaped islands, what’s next? It’s simply amazing…

Just can’t picture out what 45 degrees celsius feels like- don’t you have heat waves? at that temperature, people will be dropping from heatstroke…
