officially a year wiser

by Grace on November 26, 2007

My birthday came and went. Thanks to everyone who greeted me in my Thursday Thirteen post.

31 roses

It was quite an event, in my standard however, after not having any kind of  celebration except “family-only” ones for years in a row. I spent 4 hours in the kitchen cooking 5 different kinds of food while chatting with my mom who kept me entertained and made me forget how it is to stand for 4 hours straight. P was very cooperative and was able to keep herself out of the kitchen territory. Made me save a lot of time and finished all the necessary faster than I thought.

M came home with a cake, a bouquet of 31 roses and a very big flower vase.

So my birthday can be summed up like this: 4 hours of cooking, 15 minutes of eating, and more than 5 hours of talking. Oh, I must add the 20 second Happy Birthday to you sweet song rendition led by my daughter.

Happy Birthday! sorry I missed it!
I was away for THANKSGIVING and it was soo hard to get online. And trying to navigate on my iphone is hard stuff. Plus I was soo busy holding my brand new niece! But those are all excuses, sorry for missing it!
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!
