** Congratulations to Henria O.!**
Reading is big in my house, mainly because my husband and I love to read too and maybe because we aren’t subscribed to any tv channel/cable service so reading is one of our favorite past times. Our daughter loves reading and on any occassion, she’s happier to receive a book rather than a doll or toy.
As an expat family, we travel and on those travels we bring books with us. Mind you – they immensely help ease the long haul flights to Japan! However I have to pack books and carry it. Usually we bring 3-5 books for Pristine so it’s not light.
Someone from Picpocket Books approached me for giveaway and I couldn’t be happier to oblige because again, we love books and Picpocket Books is one cool way to read books:
Now kids can enjoy their favorite books from your iPhone/iPod Touch and soon, the iPad!
Picpocket Books offer a new way for kids to get extra exposure to reading through mobile digital technology. We offer a wide range of classic content from established publishers, including previously published “board books”, concept books, easy readers, fairy tales, and other culturally diverse picture books. We are proud to list two titles from Chronicle Books among our recent releases. We are consciously NOT creating video games, but hope that PicPocket Books can offer a gentle alternative to games for parents who want to offer their children mobile digital books.
The digital picture books are valued at $0.99 ~ $3.99.
Picpocket Books allow children to enjoy picture books as downloadable iPhone/iPod touch apps. Children ages 2 – 8 can enjoy their favorite stories on the go—at the doctor’s of?ce, at the store, on the airplane; any situation where it’s impractical to bring physical books along.
Sadly, I do not own any iPhone or iPod Touch (so sad!!) so I wasn’t able to test any of the books graciously offered by Picpocket Books to download but if you do (I am sure iPhones are getting popular these days), please leave a comment on this post for your entry to win!

WHAT’S UP FOR GRABS:
One lucky winner will get to choose not one but eight (8) titles from Picpocket Book’s selection!
HOW TO WIN:
Browse all book titles at Picpocket Books and come back to tell me which you would like to read to your children (or yourself!).
That’s it!

I would download “OH Crumps!” It seems age appropriate and cute.
My daughter is fascinated with the moon, so I’d pick Round is a Mooncake. She LOVES playing on my iPod Touch, and she loves eBooks on my computer, so this would be perfect!
