Kristin Friesen is the talented lady behind the lovely jewelry found at Sweeter than Me Designs. She started making jewelry a little less than 2 years ago when she just had her son and a friend of hers just gave birth too. They were both on maternity leave and live very close to one another so decided to spend their time together with the babies and make jewelry.

They sold their jewelry together for a few months until their maternity leave ended, then she branched off to do her own thing. They’re still best friends and love getting together for bead night every once in a while. Then Kristin started her own Etsy shop pouring her heart and soul into it and was determined to make it into a career.

Every single day I love what I do. It means I get to be in charge of myself and be my own boss. It means I get to use my creativity on a daily basis and use it to help support my family, which is an amazing feeling.
