Review & Giveaway: Namaste

Namaste is a family owned and operated company that designs and makes bags that are hip, innovative and fashion forward. All of their bags come in wide array of colors and are made of extremely durable, animal friendly, easy to clean materials.

In Sanskrit the word is namah + te = namaste which means “I bow to you” – my greetings, salutations or prostration to you. It refers to paying homage or showing respect to one another, as is the practice today, when we greet each other.

Namaste Inc is a company that bows to fulfill the wearer’s needs by creating bags that are not only beautiful to the eyes but also perfect in form and fashion.

Along with their line of bags, they also have a variety of accessories like mesh pouches, clutches, mini clutches, pouches and a needle binder to store and transport your knitting, crocheting and needlepoint tools in style.

MY REVIEW:
Kelly of Namaste sent me a Laguna bag and two Namaste accessories, a Buddy Case and 3 different sizes of Oh Snap! mesh pouches, which will be so handy for me to put in my little things when we travel.

It was so hard for me to pick which bag after reading the descriptions in their website. First, I had to decide between three gorgeous bags, Hermosa, Zuma and Laguna. After getting dizzy doing the inny-minny-minny-mo, I went for the Laguna bag. Next up is choosing which colors: Black, Charcoal, Eggplant, Hollywood Pink, Lime, Olive, Peacock, Saddle and Turquoise!

Everything looks so beautiful in every color that you would want to own them all and end your wardrobe-handbag color matching misery!

~ oh my, the colors to choose from! ~

I finally made up my mind and chose a Laguna bag in Hollywood Pink. This is because I asked Pristine to choose for me and I needn’t guess. Her reply was automatic.

I am a big fan of big bags so I could carry all my things in one go. I can put my personal things and my gym outfit in it. During weekends or day/night outs, the bag easily transforms into a mommy bag filled with Pristine’s things (extra clothes, a bottle of water, face towel etc).

It has 5 metal feet on the bottom that keeps it in place when you put it on the floor. It has 2 pairs of magnetic closures at the top for easy closing and opening. The attached strap can be adjusted in length and detached. So I can wear it as a shoulder bag of across the body, messenger bag style.
