Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion: it works

A few days ago I got a 4 oz bottle of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion to test and review.

Now, if there is something I want to have an unlimited of supply of, especially after relocating to Dubai, it’s lotion with sunscreen. We have 330 days of sun in a year on the average so that means extra exposure to the harmful rays of the sun. Inside the buildings, a/c’s are working hard to cool us on the summer months. The result? Dry skin.

The Skin MD Natural Shielding LotionI got was is a moisturizer and a sun protector with SPF 15 – a must for desert dwellers like me! I am happy that this lotion is absorbed by the skin immediately and leaves no greasy feeling. My keyboard doesn’t have to look like I spilled oil in it! Its light, non-greasy solution with a pleasant scent (made with aloe vera and chamomile added with vitamin E) is what makes this lotion very useful for me.

Also, note that shielding lotion is different from conventional moisturizing lotions. Shielding lotions provide a protective shield against environmental attack: critical care skin repair. These lotions reduce moisture loss from the deeper layers of the skin – promote skin repair and encourage the natural healing processes.

I honestly feel different after a week of using and since I don’t have to put again and again to achieve the moisture I want, this little 4 oz bottle will go a long, long way.
