jitters

I would be lying if I say I am not nervous at my mother’s second attempt of leaving the country today. A few hours from now, she will be boarding a flight bound to Dubai, thanks to a friend who whipped up a miracle for us yesterday. I am terrified, nervous and restless. I jerk everytime the phone rings thinking it will be my mom’s call of distress (again).

If everything turns out right, she will be landing in Dubai International Airport at 10:30 p.m. today. Wish her luck!!

I arrived at the office before 8 am today because I will be going home in a couple of hours. The 38C fever I have since last night is slowing me down, all joints in my body aching. If I didn’t have reports to submit today, a needed bedrest would have been wonderful.

Your nervousness is as serious as mine. With the information of Alainboy that your mom has already entered the airport I felt so thrilled of what will happen during those uncertain moments. I was so overwhelmed the time I received a text message from her that she was already at the predeparture area. I uttered to myself YES!, my wife and daughter ultimately became victorious against the unscrupulous people at the airport victimizing many travellers. Kudos to both of you.
