I’ve got at least 30 people in my Yahoo Messenger contacts list. On a fine day, meaning, they actually go online and not too scared to hide behind the invisibility cloak, there are around 4 people with bright yellow smileys beside their names.

You know what, I will be deleting some contacts who are not in touch with me anymore. There are plenty of them and I just hate looking at their names in gray and I don’t like it that I am always the one to initiate a conversation. Whew, I’m just dead bored again today. Nothing much at work so better I go on sorting out my online stuffs. It’s almost time to go home and since I can’t read the HP book I have, I’ll delete the YM contacts (I’m sure they wouldn’t miss me anyway), delete old mails, save some, reply to some.
Do you retain all contacts in your email/chat list even if they have been inactive for weeks/years?

hahaha… you are really so bored today, aren’t you?
ate, un sa akin i-delete mo na din kasi hindi ko na ma-access yan. meron na akong bago. invite kita ha.
I don’t think I have anyone on my chat list seeing as I don’t really chat. However, my email list is super long. I don’t even remember who half these people are. hee hee
im one of those who hide under the invisibility cloak
Yes I do delete ppl on my YM and other chat application, specially when Im bored…
I check my email on a regular basis but I don’t go ‘online’. I can’t chat anymore. Email is more effective (I think) and very importantly, time flexible especially for me with my baby also wanting to type when I’m on the computer.
I still have my contacts in my yahoo intact…
wow you must be bored!
I do sometimes delete my contacts, but it is rare. I would have to get onto my yahoo messenger first! I am a gray smiley most of the time too
I used to use messenger all the time, but I don’t anymore. It is so time-consuming. I would say you should delete them…but I am such a pack rat and it bubbles over to my yahoo and messages as well. I keep everything for so long – emails, yahoo ids, etc. I always think “well, SOMEDAY I might want to contact them.” Just for the record, I think keeping all that stuff is a bad idea. I just know its hard for me to get rid of stuff!
Oi…i am still alive and kicking!
I do delete contacts too, those who are always in gray smileys, samok samok lang sa YM…hehehe.
I don’t use messenger at all, so I don’t have that list, but it’s funny you mentioned that, because I went througn my email list LAST NIGHT and deleted sooooo many that I was amazed at the people who I haven’t heard from in a LONG time.
Now I wonder who’s fault that is, and I went to bed feeling guilty and didn’t sleep too well!
