This week’s theme: Heavy

No not me! Carrying a 15 kilo heavy toddler all over London on a whole day city tour (Spring 2006) is not a joke.

Passing by Big Ben and the heavy babe is still asleep. This is one of the rare times I actually wished we had a stroller with us.

Still asleep at the Tower of London…M and I switched places because my arms felt numb with all the carrying around!
The 9-hour time difference naturally took its toll on the little girl. She was sleeping in London even in mornings because it’s her nap time in Japan.

I can totally relate to the back-breaking carrying of heavy babies. But their hugs and smiles are worth the load.
Have a great weekend, Grace. I think its my first time here.

Oh, I remember those days! The kids would get so heavy, and sometimes seemed heavier when they were sleeping.

Very fun photos! It’s always amazed me how even the smallest baby can get “heavy” after many delightful hours of cuddling. When our daughter-in-law and grand babies returned to California after visiting us in Florida, the babies were getting up, watching tv and playing video games at 4am. Much to our son’s dismay, it took them awhile to get back on schedule. We now live back in CA.
I’m so sorry I haven’t mailed your Valentine exchange package. I’ve been under the weather but it’s all packaged and sealed to go Monday morning.

Yup, I can totally relate:) Nice photos too!
That’s an excellent choice for the theme LOL! Great photos, too. They’ll remind your little one one day that she’s actually been to London!!
We were smarter: we went to London when our son was 10 years old!
Grace, one fine day I will take you up on that tag!!!
