Old-fashioned lamps used sometime long ago in Arabia. Photo taken at the historic Bastakiya district, Dubai where you can see some tantalizing views of Old Dubai.

Kerosene lamps? That’s really old fashioned. If I were to use that now, I MIGHT burn down my house with me so clumsy

(I do have one like that, too, but it’s too dusty to take a photo of LOL)

I love it! We had kerosene lamps in our house when I was a child. This is my first Photo Hunt, and I’m not sure what I’m doing or where to go post your picture - help! Oh, I’ll figure it out somehow. I just copied your post for the most part!

Clearly old-fashioned! Having lived with one, I can say that the light’s no-where near as good as electric, though.
