What great timing to post this entry but on a Sunday afternoon when everyone is everywhere except in front of their PC’s.

Florence and Katya has tagged me to post 6 weird things about me. Why only six? I have plenty! Anyway, here’s my shot:
1. Queen of Darkness- I cannot sleep with the lights on. I shut all sources of light to be able to sleep well. Even teeny tiny LED’s from the PC or stereo would make me restless and awake. That will explain I hate to travel by train at night.
2. Toilet Prima donna- I can never do my stuff on a dirty toilet and it’s giving me problems. My urge to do my stuff immediately disappears when the toilet is dirty and especially if it stinks. I prevented myself from urinating for three long hours because I could not find a toilet clean enough. I am slowly correcting this behavior.
3. Silent Movie Watcher- I watch horror movies like the Ring, the Grudge, 1408, Stephen King series. I am brave!! wait…I’m not finished…I watch it without the sounds but I still jerk everytime.
4. Life Jacket Seeker- I can swim, but only if the depth is within my height and I can see what’s beneath me. I can’t tread. With that complicated, weird condition, the sea freaks me out. When riding a boat, I look for the life jacket first. When the sea farers are not looking, I get it, cover it with a towel and make it my pillow although all the signs says it’s against the law.
When on an airplane, I have the compulsion to look for the life vest…in case of water landing.
5. The Watcher - I had my first wristwatch when I was 6. It never left my being ever since. If ever go out forgetting my wrist watch (which happens very rarely!) my day is completely ruined because I end up looking and looking and there’s nothing to look at except for the realization that I was forgetful today. This is also what I first see in people, if they are wearing a watch or not.
I preferred to date a guy with a wrist watch than a guy who relies on other things to know the time: cellphone, wall clock, the big ben, the sun…
6. (At last) Mascara hater - Even on my wedding day, I skipped putting on mascara. I hate the smudges no matter all brands seem to promise not to mess up. I work in front of the computer all day and sometimes I rub my eyes and forget I have a mascara on. And what will that make of me, Avril Lavigne??

How can you watch a movie silently?? Do you read the subtitles? I would have no idea what was going on! Very funny stuff!

Moving Mamma sent me over…love the list. funny. Sometimes my kids watch TV silently because I can’t stand the noise. It’s funny because they are watching it probably making up the story….hmmm

I wish my kids watched TV silently, I’ve forgotten what silence sounds like.
About wearing watches, I never leave home without mine.

If I were a guy… I’d definitely lose my chance to date you! ha ha! I have not been wearing a wrist watch since I broke mine last year.
Like you.. I also hate mascara… but I don’t wear makeup anyways.
On toilets… I always “get the signal #2″ daily and I must do it regardless the cleanliness, etc. and I really hate being like this.

I use Maybelline Great Lash mascara and love it. I don’t think it would survive a good rubbing, though.

I want to react on the wrist watch thing. I stopped wearing one since almost more than 10 years now. I’ve never felt so liberated, no wrist watch to forget … cause I really don’t wear one although i do own one - seiko watch I got for free from Epson and it’s still in it’s case. It’s amazing though how I seem to know where to look when I want to know the exact time.

Aw, Grace! I am DEFINITELY with you on the toilet thing!!! I would rather “hold it” than go into a dirty bathroom!!! You would sleep very well at my home…when we turn off the lights, it is DARK! This really was hard to DH to adjust to for a long time, as he grew up in the city and was used to being able to see in the house even when all the lights were turned off!!! Hmmm…and the watches…I own watches, but hate to wear them. Perhaps if I worked outside the home, I would wear one (I did before) but since I am home all the time, I don’t need one!
