THIRTEEN REASONS WHY I WANT ANOTHER CHILD

  • I grew up in a large family. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. So much fun.
  • Large family is riot but I love children’s laughter.
  • The more, the merrier.
  • I think I have so much love to give.
  • The thought of possibly getting pregnant with twins excites me. My grandmother has a twin and I hear it runs in families?
  • It would be a blast for my daughter to have a playmate/playmates right in the comfort of our own home.
  • It’s great to see people with the same family name having different personalities!
  • All the baby stuff I keep at home should be put to use.
  • I love the smell of babies.
  • Pristine is asking me a million times why she is alone and it’s better to provide physical evidence.
  • I want to know if the labor and delivery the second time around would be easier as they all say. (I have 40 hours of labor under my belt.)
  • I don’t want Pristine to go through the roughest time alone like in case both us parents die young. Knock on wood!!
  • Lastly, I think it’s my obligation as a parent to give my only daughter a company.

  2. go girl! do it. do it. we’re looking forward to seeing an addition to your family. it’s quiet lonely being the only child. and…. you have all the resources for a new member’s needs.

  3. seems like you’re asking (convincing) yourself why you should have another baby and the only answer is….”because i ran out of reasons why i shouldn’t.”

  4. Oh - I am so ready to have another one also :) I was thrilled to see your list. I waited 4 years between my boys. I say it was because my husband was deployed 2xs, but I really think it was because I wanted my body back for a little while after breastfeeding. Now I want #3, and I’m having a hard time thinking of being pregnant again (I look like a telatubbie :) ) Good luck on whatever you chose to do…

  5. Large families are awesome! We are working towards being a large family, we have 7 kids so far, which seemed big until we got there, now 12 seems like a large family to us.
Every girl needs a sister and a brother and every boy needs a brother and a sister!
Large families help the economy, keeping people in jobs! Large families help the environment, too, the tend to eat out less, reuse things more often, buy used instead of new, and use larger packages making less waste. Plus being frugal in other areas helps, too, like using cloth diapers.
And none of the family will be lonely, there will always be someone around!
Ok, this is something I love to talk about!
    Thanks for visiting my TT!

  6. Oh, yeah, labor does NOT, in fact, get easier. You are just better prepared to deal with it. You may have an easier labor one time, but that doesn’t mean they keep getting easier! My third was great, the rest were HORRIBLE.
And I want twins so bad, too! And they do run in families! Good luck with that! I’m hoping between having twins in my family, having had twins myself (one did not live), and being over 35 that I will have twins next time.

  10. Grace, we are on the same league! kung puede lang maka-boot- I’d love to have a set of twins after danielle! hehehe- but until danielle turns two so she can take care of her younger identical brothers/sisters or fraternal twin siblings… Yes, its genetic- so you have a fair if not good chance of having twins.. My paternal grandparents has twin siblings… So- what do you think? wouldn’t it be exciting to have twins?… let’s just forget for a while how excruciating pain births will be for twins….

Pristine would be wide-eyed with wonder if she would have siblings anytime soon! :-)
