My brother has announced that he will (finally) get married to his long-time girlfriend of 11 years on their 12th year as sweethearts, on August 2008.

#9 is my favorite. My grandmother was a wedding coordinator and I was her assistant. I’ve probably seen 1300 wedding cakes in my life time. LOL. Happy TT.

Those are stunning, I can’t pick a favorite. They are certainly much better than mine which tasted great but was lacking in color. Pure white; they forgot to add the color that was supposed to be there.

I love the way 3 and 12 look, but I’ll bet 4 tastes the best. They’re all gorgeous though.

i don’t like #9. it looks like a monster growing in the cake! i like #12, which i think is the most elegant looking!

The cakes are beautiful. Most of them seem to have that marzipan frosting/coating. I had never seen that until a friend got married in Canada. Is that common in your family??

Wow - Wedding Cakes sure have changed since I got married. Mine was the ugliest wedding cake imaginable! I was married on the Winter Solstice…my cake was a round white cake with christmas color spinkles on top

Ah, I love wedding cakes! I have no wish to ever get married myself, but I would love to get one of those cakes for each of my birthdays. LOL
I even thought about starting a business making them, but I don’t think I am creative enough.
The ones you showed are all beautiful, but I like the one with the cherry blossoms most. And the one after that, the blue one. But they are all gorgeous.
