13 SONGS THAT REMIND ME OF LAZY AFTERNOONS NOT TOO LONG AGO
- Arthur’s Theme - Christopher Cross, 1981. “Once in your life you find her…” Watch & Listen
- Every Woman in the World - Air Supply, 1980. “Over night scenes dinner and wine, Saturday girls…” Watch & Listen
- Lonely is the Night - Air Supply, 1986. “Never thought that I, could live without you…” Watch & Listen.
- The Glory of Love - Peter Cetera, 1986. “Tonight is very clear…” Peter Cetera looks really comical in this video but it’s still a great song.
- Hard Habit to Break - Chicago, 1984.
I guess I thought you’d be here forever
Another illusion I chose to create
You don’t know what ya got until it’s gone
And I found out just a little too late
I was acting as if you were lucky to have me
Doin’ you a favor I hardly knew you were there
But then you were gone and it was all wrong
Had no idea how much I caredChorus:
Now being without you
Takes a lot of getting used to
Should learn to live with it
But I don’t want to
Living without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting easier
It’s the hardest thing to take
I’m addicted to ya babe
You’re a hard habit to breakAin’t it obvious that this is my favorite?

Such great songs… I’m not embarrassed to admit publicly that I love Air Supply, and that Chicago’s greatest hits is on my mp3 player. And Heaven, wow. That was my song with my high school sweetheart. Still brings a nostalgic tear to my eye.
Great TT.

We have a common chord their grace! I love songs from the 70s and 80s. I’m a big fan of the Beegies too- I noticed you didn’t list any of their songs- do you also like them? I remembered that the song “It might be You” was used as a soundtrack to one of my favorite movies- Tootsi starring Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange in early 80s.
