Why Windows Live Writer

Hee-how, Windows Live Writer rocks! I can actually see my test post reflected in my blog seconds after I hit publish.

What happened is, today is a self-declared holiday. There’s not much work to do in the office since it’s still holiday in Japan so thought it would be better if I use this chance to stay at home and blog help my mother with the chores, and most especially to be with my daughter. Since Pristine is at school and won’t be home until 12:00 noon, I tried to login to my wordpress blog (I couldn’t help but blog while waiting for the laundry to finish!). I entered my username, then password and hit the Login button. Poof! The data I entered just disappeared and I am stucked outside of my blog wall. I could not get in. What the heck!?

I tried like, a bazillion times and nothing happened. I cleared the cache files, deleted the temporary internet files and restarted my system. Nothing.

Can someone tell me what is happening here? I am with Bluehost (my server) and they told me they can login without any problems from their side.

Did I write anything offensive in my previous post that deserved internet censorship? Am I blocked?

Don’t panic, at least you can still post.

Did you try to do the upgrade already?

I didn’t do any upgrading yet.

How very strange. I don’t “speak computer” so I am truly stymied when something goes wrong. Thank goodness I am married to an engineer who can figure things out :-)

That’s great! My hubby is not much into blogging but I’ve got bloggy friends who pulled their hair out to solve my problem too! I’m lucky! :-)

Oh no! I would completely panic - you are holding together quite nicely.

Good luck; I have no advice because I wouldn’t have even been able to figure out the Windows Live Writer.

I admit, I am in panic but thank God for Windows Live Writer, I wasn’t shut out from the blogging world completely!

Have you solved your WP log-in problem already? But thank God you have WLW.

As of May 8th, YES! I have solved the login problem, thanks to one of my friend who gave me the solution! It’s just so different to write in Windows Live Writer but at least it’s an option!
