WW – Merry Christmas!

by Grace on December 24, 2008

santa and baby

Just to add, nothing to do with Santa above but I have read/heard that saying “Merry Christmas” is NOT politically correct. Really? Does saying that cause some kind of chaos and anger in some parts of the world? Here in Dubai, even my Muslim friends and office colleagues greet Christians “Merry Christmas” and I think they mean it from their hearts.

Yes, here in the States we say, “Happy Holidays” so as not to offend those who celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or who do not celebrate anything at all.

Stupid, isn’t it?

Awesome picture! And yes, isn’t that whole argument stupid? lol. I think we here in the US get just a bitttt carried away with the stupid political correctness.

I say Happy Holidays to people for other reasons. As a person that is Jewish, I like to be sure to cover anyone celebrating a holiday during the month of December. Of course if a friend I know celebrated Christmas I say that to them.
