a dash of frustration

You know me, I know me, I get a little frustrated over things I should not, over some petty things people just leave a grin with. Also, that I get elated over simple things most people just ignore.

I don’t have to elaborate that I love being connected to family and friends. How would you explain my blogging and my documentation about the littlest things in my life if I don’t? I am addicted to blogging as well as to sending emails and I couldn’t explain well how getting back mails from friends and family make me happy, no matter what mood I had the morning I woke up.

Okay, to cut this short, here is the reason for this rant: I just had my computer at work complete with internet connection that would be my passport to the other side of the world where family and friends are. And you know the rest, I sent emails to them. If you’ll ask me when was the last time I really looked forward to going to work, I would have answered today. A day after I sent emails and perceived getting a really crowded inbox. They could not ignore the long emails I sent!

Literally hopping my way to work, I arrived so many minutes earlier, enough reason for my boss to be suspicious of my action. The new PC made me come to work early! But now, I am feeling a little bit of frustration. Only two of my friends replied. I know most of them are busy on the first working day of the week but still, I was hoping to get excited before seriously burrying my head into the sand work.

Sadly today is Monday morning and a typical busy day for Japanese workers. Well, they are busy every single day of the work week but Monday is the “busier” day so I’ll take that as a consideration. I’ll forgive them for ignoring my mail but still, I it doesn’t make me feel less frustrated. Not at all.
