Before I could remember the last time I complained about not doing anything at work and just daydreaming or blogging, I am swamped with loads work, suddenly and surprisingly.

Since we have strong ties with the Japan market, most of our correspondents are naturally, Japanese who, until recently have burned their midnight candles on writing documents and emails in English.  The guys in Dubai (my colleagues) know nothing about Nihongo. The communication to and from Japan would take a while because of the language barrier.

This morning as I was opening my mailer, I was surprised to see it downloading emails numbering beyond  the number of friends I have back home, Japan & Philippines combined! To my horror, there were tons and tons of email from our Japanese partner company ASKING me to translate the email exchanges in English and forward to the guys in Dubai to speed up relay of information!

Now they found out the shortcut to happiness and the end of some overtime – through me! And for every action, there is an opposite reaction, simply put, the increase of happiness and decrease of overtime for the Japs would mean totally the opposite in my case.

The documents is filled with technical stuffs I am so new to. This is definitely going to give me a few gray hairs!
