we’re finally moving
Posted in Work on 03/09/2008 11:22 pm by GraceAfter so many months of waiting, my department will be finally moving from a rented suite to the head office. The last few days had been a real drag and I lost motivation to work because I don’t know if I should start packing my things or clearing up my desk or should just wait for further announcement. I don’t like being left hanging - I would overhear my boss saying we’ll move the next day and when the next day comes, he will say tomorrow. It has become the management’s habit to say “tomorrow” over and over again. Hate, hate that.
All my things have been packed and ready to go. I never felt much more alive this afternoon when the boss finally said the pickup truck will get our things tomorrow. I feel like turning a new page in my career although it only meant a new desk and a separate washroom for ladies.
